Measure portion size of turkey or chicken prior to cooking. The turkey comes in links, I cut it into bite sized rounds and counted approx. ten pieces per serving. Brown sausage in skillet until no longer pink. Drain onto several layers of paper towel to soak up as much fat as possible. Meanwhile sauté onions, garlic and peppers in soup pan using small amount of chicken broth until soft. Add cooked meat, tomatoes and chicken broth. Salt and pepper to taste. Simmer 10-20 minutes. Makes approx 4-5 servings.
